HISTORY OF CHAMPIONS

The Sandhills Patriots organization has been extremely successful on the football field since inception. During this time, the Varsity team has amassed a record of 66-0 in league play, claiming six consecutive AFC Championships and six consecutive Super Bowl Championships. At the conclusion of the 2014 season, the Varsity team was ranked number two in 14-and-under category and the JV team was ranked number three in the North and South Carolina region. Our JV team has won three AFC Championships and two Super Bowls. Many of our players have participated in the Football University (“FBU”) National Championships on behalf of the Eastern North Carolina team, and many of our coaches have participated in the FBU National Championships. Patriots Director Thomas Van Camp was named Team Director of Eastern North Carolina National Tournament Team for 2012 and 2013. Coach Van Camp now oversees the All American Youth Football Conference of the NC Amateur Athletic Union in which the Sandhills Patriots contend very competitive organizations from across the State of North Carolina.
